April 21, 2021 – Feature Release Notes
Up to 1 hour of downtime anticipated between 20:00 and 21:00 PT (23:00 and 24:00 ET)
New + Improved
WMS-13643 – Left Navigation: There are several classic pages in the Items and Customers modules that actively prevent access by Customer users. This happens in the Classic code and is not controlled by the new user permissions. To avoid confusion, we have updated the UI to hide those links from Customer users.
WMS-15074 – Small Parcel Suite: Added support for computer-connected scales to weigh packages in SmartPack. This solution requires you to use the Chrome web browser to provide the plug-and-play scale connection, as well as have the "SmartPack Scale" TPL setting enabled under Admin > Settings.
To learn more, see Configuring Scales for SmartPack.
WMS-16713 – Order and Receipt Import: Updated the error message that displays when you attempt to upload an empty import file to include a more useful description of the problem.
Fixes
WMS-14986 – Manage Customers: Resolved an issue where "State/Province/Region" was a required field, which prevented changes to the customer record for customers in countries that don't have such divisions. The system now allows you to save changes to customer records without selecting a State/Province/Region.
WMS-16603 – Manage Inventory: Addressed an issue that, in rare cases, could cause fully depleted receiveitems to remain in the Manage Inventory grid. This could occur when an order allocated was created with a quantity of 0, which was then deleted.
WMS-16822 – EDI: Corrected an issue that could result in multiple notifications being sent upon the creation of new orders from an FTP/EDI connection.
WMS-16843 – Pick Ticket: Resolved an issue in the default Pick Ticket by Location report template, in which it was improperly calculating the packaging UOM quantity.
Operations
WMS-16155 – General: To help reduce error rates, created a mechanism that detects when you are using an outdated software version and refreshes your instance to sync the latest updates. If the system finds that you are using an outdated version, you will receive a message that informs you the page will refresh in 60 seconds.
To prevent the system from automatically refreshing your instance, we recommend triggering this update yourself by using < Ctrl + Shift + R > to perform a hard refresh in your browser.
