January 20, 2021 – Feature Release Notes
Up to 1 hour of downtime anticipated between 20:00 and 21:00 PST (23:00 and 24:00 EST)
New + Improved
WMS-4676 – Find Orders: Updated the page to allow you to view attached files on closed orders.
WMS-4827 – Find Orders: Moved the 'Status' filter in the left-side search filters into its own container so it's easier to find and work with. This filter is highly used and was previously "buried" in the Order Details filter container.
WMS-14910 – High-Volume Processing: Consolidated the new and legacy High-Volume Processing (HVP) features into a single setting under Admin > Settings since the legacy HVP tool is now deprecated. This change also removes the classic "Messages" icon in the top tab bar, as the new HVP tool displays error messages directly in the Print HVP Batches dialog.
WMS-15049 – Small Parcel Space (BETA): Made minor updates to label text and spacing in several areas of the Small Parcel space.
WMS-15354 – Small Parcel Space (BETA): Updated the field on the homepage next to 'Select all' that allows you to open an order to pack to support the scanning of a tracking number to identify an order to pack. This field now lets you scan/enter any of the following values to select an order to pack: Transaction ID, Reference Number, Bin ID (from Pick-to-Bin), and Tracking Number.
WMS-15501 – Manage Warehouse: Removed the ability to activate/deactivate a warehouse because this ability impacts monthly billing and needs to be managed through the 3PL Central Accounting team. Please contact your CSM if you need to add or remove a warehouse from your account.
WMS-15503 – Orders: Updated the visibility of the Create Order, Edit Order, and Edit Carrier and Routing beta pages so they are only visible to warehouse users. Also updated the Edit Carrier and Routing beta option to require that you have the Edit Order permission to access.
WMS-15663 – Create/Edit Order (BETA): By popular demand, we have reverted the beta pages to use the same scroll-based navigation to move from section to section.
Fixes
WMS-4267 – Audit Inventory: Resolved an issue where the 'Assigned To' search filter did not have an option to filter by the Assigned User. We have added a default filter option of "All", which indicates the audit job grid will display jobs assigned to all users.
WMS-4917 – Left Navigation: Addressed an issue where the Inventory module would display even if you did not have permissions to access any of the pages within that module.
WMS-11702 – Create/Edit Order: Corrected an issue where it was possible to create an order with a reference number that started with a < space > character, which could easily lead to confusion and duplicate orders.
WMS-12756 – SmartScan: Resolved an issue in the Receipts, Audit, Move, and Lookup modules when scanning GS1 barcodes that include variable-length elements. The barcode would parse properly, but elements in the barcode that occur after a variable-length element would not be captured in their appropriate fields. For example, when scanning a GS1 barcode containing SKU (variable) and Lot (variable), the SKU would populate into the SKU field successfully, but the Lot value would not.
A similar issue exists in the Pick and Pack modules, which will be handled separately.
WMS-14469 – Batch Item Update (BETA): Addressed an issue where 'Export Items' for the Batch Item Update (BETA) feature was not exporting items to match the unit of measure (UOM) set at the warehouse level.
The enhanced Batch Item Update process is currently in a closed beta testing phase. If you're interested in gaining early access to this new functionality before we generally release it, please reach out directly to your CSM or let us know at customersuccess@3plcentral.com.
WMS-15101 – Item Movement Report: Corrected an issue that prevented items moved on the Move Items page from being properly reflected in the report.
WMS-15172 – Manage Items: Resolved an issue related to item configuration where a track-by's "Require scan at pick" flag would not be cleared if the track-by status was changed to "Disabled". This would subsequently cause problems when trying to use SmartScan with transactions that contain those items.
WMS-15218 – Create/Edit Receipt: Addressed an issue when assigning line items to a movable unit where the system was allowing the MU to exist in more than one location.
WMS-15232 – Shopify Connection: Corrected an issue with the pre-wired Shopify integration that caused timeouts and failed order downloads for large order batches (> 2500).
WMS-15395 – WooCommerce Connection: Resolved an issue with the pre-wired WooCommerce integration that prevented some error messages from being written to our background log files, which made it difficult to identify problems when they occurred.
WMS-15481 – Edit Carrier and Routing (BETA): Addressed an issue that prevented you from selecting more than 25 orders at a time to update.
WMS-15510 – Item Activity Report: Corrected an issue in the default report template where balances were not properly displaying. Also fixed the transaction ordering in the report to better handle sorting of transactions that happened on the same day.
WMS-15586 – Inventory Detail with Aging Report: Resolved an issue in the default report template to fix an issue where inventory that was "aged" 7 days was not displaying properly in the report.
WMS-15694 – Create/Edit Receipt: Addressed an issue where receipts could not be properly confirmed when an arrival date was set.
Known Issues
Click here to see all known issues.
WMS-15676 – Create/Edit Receipt: When creating or editing a receipt, we are aware that the system currently allows you to assign an MU to a null location (No Location) and an additional location. When you attempt to add the MU to the additional location, an error should appear stating that the MU is already in an existing location.
WMS-15732 – SmartScan: We are aware of an issue in the Pick and Pack modules when scanning GS1 barcodes that include variable-length elements, in which the barcode properly parses, but elements in the barcode that occur after a variable-length element are not captured in their appropriate fields. For example, when scanning a GS1 barcode containing SKU (variable) and Lot (variable), the SKU will populate into the SKU field successfully, but the Lot value will not.
WMS-15741 – WooCommerce Connection: There is currently an issue with retrying orders that fail due to invalid SKUs, which causes invalid data to be appended to the list of failed orders to retry.
