Setup Merchant SKUs and UPCs - Integral Group
EDI retailers sometimes require a Merchant SKU or a UPC for each product when performing inventory syncs. For this to work, you must setup these SKUs and UPCs as product aliases in Extensiv Integration Manager. For some systems aliases will load automatically from your WMS/OMS system, so you need to set them up there.
When Integration Manager loads orders from Integral Group, we will attempt to automatically load any aliases they provide for that order's items into Integration Manager if they don't exist already. This only works if you have matching product SKUs loaded from your warehouse.
View / Add Alias in Integration Manager
You can view or add product aliases in Integration Manager by going to the merchant in the Merchant tab. Click on Locations & Products and then Product Alias. Select the desired Product SKU.
UPC
UPCs will be automatically sent to Integral Group if available. No additional setup is needed beyond having an alias with the name UPC.
Merchant or Buyer SKU
All your Merchant SKUs should be given the same alias name in Integration Manager. XXXX_merchantSKU is the preferred default name, but others are allowed. Where XXXX is the retailer's Customer No (as provided by Integral Group).
Go to the Integral Group cart in Integration Manager and select Edit Setup. For the option named Merchant/Buyer SKU Alias Name, select which of the alias names your setup that Integration Manager should use when sending the Merchant SKU field to Integral Group.
Skip items
Not all your products may exist with each retailer for sale. If you send inventory to Integral Group for items they don't expect, there may be loading errors.
To prevent this, make sure you only add the Merchant SKU Alias to products that actually exist for that retailer. Next, make sure to set the Skip Items Without Alias option to: Yes
Vendor SKU
Integration Manager always passes a Vendor SKU. By default, this is the Master SKU of the product loaded in Integration Manager. If you need to pass a different alias value to Integral Group for the Vendor SKU, Go to the Integral Group cart in Integration Manager and select Edit Setup. For the option named Push Inventory Using Alias (towards the bottom of the page), select which of the alias names your setup that Integration Manager should use when sending the Vendor SKU field to Integral Group.
Missing Vendor SKU
Any items without a valid Vendor SKU WILL NOT have inventory synced to Integral Group.
You can setup products with a vendor SKU that is the same as the master SKU to make sure only some of your items sync through to Integral Group for that specific retailer. XXXX_vendorSKU is the preferred default name, but others are allowed. Where XXXX is the retailer's Customer No (as provided by Integral Group).
