August 15, 2024 - Release Notes
Payments: Convenience fees have been added to Billing Manager to help offset the costs associated with accepting payments via credit card or eCheck (ACH). 3PL providers have the flexibility to configure the amount and type of convenience fees for individual customers. When setting up convenience fees, the following limits must be adhered to: a maximum of 4.00% for credit card payments and the lesser of 2.00% or $100 for eCheck payments.

Customer Settings: We added support for a “wallet” to store credit card, and eCheck (ACH) payment account specifically for 3PLs with a signed credit authorization agreement allowing them to make payments on behalf of their Brand customers. Note that only 3PL users have access to this payment wallet. Once a payment account is created within the wallet, it can be shared with other 3PL users who require access to make invoice payments.

Invoice Payments: Updated the invoice summary that displays when a user selects an invoice for payment from either the Review Invoices page or the Customer Invoices page. The invoice summary is now organized by transaction type, allowing for a quicker review before payment. Additionally, users have the option to click an "Expand" icon to view a full-screen summary page that aligns with the updated invoice formatting released a few months ago. These enhancements simplify the payment process to provide a more consistent experience for customers.

Customer Wallet and Invoices: We enhanced payment functionality by adding a new 'payment wallet' for customers of 3PL providers. This wallet can store both credit card and eCheck (ACH) accounts, allowing customers to create, manage, share, and delete payment accounts to pay invoices within Billing Manager. This wallet is not visible or accessible to 3PL users, who have their own version of the payment wallet available to them in Customer Settings.
