August 19, 2020 – Minor Release Notes
30 minutes of downtime anticipated between 21:00 and 22:00 MDT
New + Improved
WMS-6219 – SmartParcel: Added support for DHL Express Australia as a self-service option on the Manage Carrier Accounts page. To connect, you'll need the relevant account number.
WMS-6235 – SmartParcel: Activated the 'Edit' button on the Manage Carrier Accounts page so you can now edit certain values for existing FedEx and UPS carrier accounts. Note that some values, such as Account #, cannot be edited and require the creation of a new carrier account. To learn more, please see our help article on Managing Carrier Accounts.
WMS-13136 – SmartParcel: Added a new option in the SmartParcel menu called 'Reset Failed HVP', which is associated with the new high-volume processing (HVP) feature currently in beta. For a variety of reasons, it's possible for batch-processed orders to fail to retrieve all the data they need as part of the small parcel label generation. When this happens, the only recourse is to reset the order state so labels for that order can be processed again. 'Reset Failed HVP' lets you reset these orders without having to contact 3PL Central Support for assistance.
WMS-13360 – SmartParcel: Added support for SEKO Logistics as a self-service option on the Manage Carrier Accounts page. To connect, you'll need a relevant API Access Key.
WMS-13462 – SmartParcel: In the HVP BETA modal, we relocated the label format controls (PDF or ZPL) from below the grid to above the grid so they don't get hidden by a large grid. We also made the grid responsive to collapsing the Filter Results section so it will grow to fill the available space.
WMS-13670 – SmartScan: Updated the UI in the Receipts module to more clearly instruct you how to finish the receipt process. These changes affect standard receipts and when receiving against an ASN.
Fixes
WMS-12542 – SmartScan: Corrected an issue in the Move module where you could not move a MU unless the Mobile Scanner > Move > Move Allocated Inventory permission was assigned to your user role, even if none of the inventory being moved was allocated to orders.
WMS-12715 – SmartScan: Addressed an issue in the Pick module where the application required you to have the Force Pick Complete permission assigned to your user role (via Manage Roles under Mobile Scanner > Pick Module) to finish a pick job. Now, that permission is only required if you're finishing a pick job where all items have not been picked.
WMS-13308 – SmartScan: Corrected an issue in the Receipts module for those using the Receive Against ASN functionality with items that require a unique serial number. In this case, if the line item did not have an Expected Quantity, such as line items added during the ASN validation process, the Quantity field would be blank and could not be updated. In this situation, the Quantity field should always be set to "1" so you should not be able to modify that value since line items are for "required, unique" serial numbers must always be Qty "1".
WMS-13679 – SmartScan: Addressed an issue where Zebra scanners with Enterprise Browser installed were unable to select a line item to start picking by scanning a SKU. Note that this functionality is supported only by Zebra scanners with Enterprise Browser.
WMS-13747 – SmartParcel: Resolved an issue in the HVP BETA web hook where it would not properly process errors if there were no labels to print—e.g., if all labels in the batch generated an error.
WMS-13791 – WooCommerce: Corrected an issue in which WooCommerce orders were not processing if they contained line items with null SKUs.
WMS-13865 – SmartParcel: Addressed an issue with the Globegistics small parcel carrier where label generation would fail if the WMS included return address information or more than two reference values, which Globegistics does not support.
