How to Reset Your Password in Extensiv

Depending on your situation, you can reset your password in one of two ways:

Scenario 1: You can’t log in or you forgot your password

Use this method if:

  • You don’t remember your password, or
  • You know your password but it’s not working, and you cannot access your account.
  1. On Extensiv  login page, click Forgot Password? 
  2. Enter your email address, then click SEND CODE.
  3. Check your email for a verification code. 
  4. Enter the verification code on the reset page.
  5. Create a new password. Be guided by the password requirements shown below. 

    Password Requirements

    • At least 8 characters long
    • At least 1 capital letter
    • At least 1 lowercase letter
    • At least 1 number
    • At least 1 special character (#, &, !, $)

     
  6. Re-enter your new password in the Confirm new password field.
  7. Click CREATE NEW PASSWORD. A message will appear stating:"Your password has been changed."
  8. Click GO TO LOGIN PAGE to sign in.
     
  9. Log in using your email and your newly set password. 


Scenario 2: You are logged in and want to change your password

Use this method if:

  • You are already logged in, and
  • You want to update your password for security reasons or because you suspect your account may be compromised.
  1. Click your name in the upper-right corner of the page and select Profile Settings.
  2. Click Reset Password.
  3. Enter your current password to verify your identity.
  4. Create a new password following the same requirements listed above.
  5. Re-enter your new password in the Confirm Password field.
  6. Click Submit to save your changes.
