How to Reset Your Password in Extensiv
Depending on your situation, you can reset your password in one of two ways:
Scenario 1: You can’t log in or you forgot your password
Use this method if:
- You don’t remember your password, or
- You know your password but it’s not working, and you cannot access your account.
- On Extensiv login page, click Forgot Password?
- Enter your email address, then click SEND CODE.
- Check your email for a verification code.
- Enter the verification code on the reset page.
- Create a new password. Be guided by the password requirements shown below.
Password Requirements
• At least 8 characters long
• At least 1 capital letter
• At least 1 lowercase letter
• At least 1 number
• At least 1 special character (#, &, !, $)
- Re-enter your new password in the Confirm new password field.
- Click CREATE NEW PASSWORD. A message will appear stating:"Your password has been changed."
- Click GO TO LOGIN PAGE to sign in.
- Log in using your email and your newly set password.
Scenario 2: You are logged in and want to change your password
Use this method if:
- You are already logged in, and
- You want to update your password for security reasons or because you suspect your account may be compromised.
- Click your name in the upper-right corner of the page and select Profile Settings.
- Click Reset Password.
- Enter your current password to verify your identity.
- Create a new password following the same requirements listed above.
- Re-enter your new password in the Confirm Password field.
- Click Submit to save your changes.
