This article explains the considerations for Inventory and Inventory Allocation after integration.
Inventory
When using Warehouse Manager and Order Manager, all inventory adjustments should be made in Warehouse Manager. Inventory updates are automatically synced from Warehouse Manager to Order Manager every 10 minutes.
Following the initial integration setup, the inventory sync direction will be from Warehouse Manager to Order Manager. If any inventory is directly updated in Order Manager instead of Warehouse Manager, the inventory in Order Manager will be overwritten during the next integration sync,
When new bins are created in Warehouse Manager and inventory is added to those bins, both the bins and inventory will sync to Order Manager. If bins already exist in Order Manager, creating bins with the same names in Warehouse Manager will allow Warehouse Manager to update the existing bins in Order Manager.
If you would like to prevent a bin from being picked from, edit the bin settings in Warehouse Manager and select the checkbox for “Is Process Bin”. A process bin will not be used during the picking process but will still appear when adding or receiving inventory.
If you would like to prevent a bin from being received, edit the bin settings in Warehouse Manager and select the checkbox for “Prevent Putting Inventory Into This Bin”.
If you’ve selected one of the checkboxes listed above in Warehouse Manager, the pickable and receivable checkboxes in Order Manager will be updated the next time inventory syncs for these bins.
