Configuring SmartScan on Keyence Devices
Extensiv supports Keyence devices and Keyence Enterprise Browser to run SmartScan. We recommend being familiar with your Keyence devices and having them set up before configuring SmartScan on them.Â
Extensiv does not provide support for either hardware or Enterprise Browser. Please work with Keyence Support to resolve questions and concerns about their hardware. If you have problems configuring SmartScan, contact Extensiv Support.

Setting up SmartScan on Keyence Enterprise Browser
- Launch Keyence Enterprise Browser.Â
- Enter the SmartScan URL,  https://3w.extensiv.com/scannerapp/?tpl={TPL_ID}#/login/, into the web browser using your TPL_ID. If you don’t know what your TPL_ID is, please contact your CSM or Extensiv Support.
- Login using your SmartScan credentials.
- Optional: We recommend bookmarking this page by clicking the three dots icon, going to Settings > Bookmark, and assigning SmartScan to an available bookmark.

Best Practices
We recommend having your Keyence representative configure the following settings during device setup:Â
- Configure Enterprise Browser full screen mode
- Configure support for necessary barcode types
- Configure the correct separator code for GS1 barcodes.Â
