Connecting Carriers to Providers
Customers using Small Parcel Suite can connect carrier accounts directly to 3PL Warehouse Manager using a variety of label providers. These providers are companies that have partnered with Extensiv for the carrier integration and service capabilities required to comply with carrier requirements for shipping.
This article reviews the general process for connecting a carrier to a label provider.
When you connect your carrier account to 3PL Warehouse Manager on the Small Parcel Settings page, you are required to select your provider. Each label provider is briefly detailed below:
-
ShipEngine: These connections are available by default for all Small Parcel Suite customers, and you do not need to sign up for an account.
-
BUKU Ship: When connecting your first account to BUKU Ship, you must enter your account credentials, which are provided by BUKU Ship directly. If you do not have an account, click Create New BUKU Ship Account to sign up.
-
Pitney Bowes: To connect your first account to Pitney Bowes, please enter the nickname for the account, and then sign in.
You may choose the nickname based on your preference, for instance, Complete Retail Account. Moreover, the Shipper Rate Plan & Integrator Carrier ID are not required.
Once you select your provider, you can enter your carrier-specific account requirements to activate your account(s) in Small Parcel Suite. For a full list of the carriers supported in Small Parcel Suite and specific connection guidelines, please see Small Parcel Carriers.
Please note that if you have interest in a shipping label provider that is not included in our Parcel API, kindly contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to inquire about the opportunity of adding your desired partner into our ecosystem.
