Beta features now generally available

WMS-15815 – Create/Edit Order: After a successful beta, and having addressed all reported issues, we have replaced the prior versions of the Create/Edit Order page and Edit Carrier and Routing option with the updated versions that have been in open beta since mid-December 2020.

WMS-15816 – Manage Packaging: This prototype page has now exited beta and moved to its permanent location in the Orders module. This page replaces the Define Packaging Materials page, formerly available under Orders > Packaging Options.

General updates

WMS-15480 – Small Parcel Space: Updated the Settings page to include a setting to control the default value of the 'Label Format' field in the Pack and Ship dialog. When 'Print ZPL Labels by Default' is selected, the Label Format will default to ZPL for all orders for a customer.

WMS-15677 – Small Parcel Space: Updated the 'Carton Label' drop-down list in the Pack and Ship dialog to make them easier to find. There are four types of carton label templates, and the drop-down list now displays them in this order: Custom carton label (non-UCC128), Default carton label, Custom UCC128, then Default UCC128 (from the 3PL Central template library).

WMS-15820 – Create/Edit Order: Updated the date selector to automatically open when you place focus on that field. Also added a pop-up message if you click "Close" or attempt to close an open Create/Edit Order tab when there are unsaved changes on the page.

Fixes

WMS-15592 – SmartScan: Resolved an issue with the Move Movable Unit functionality where, following the completion of one move operation, the system was not putting focus back on the 'Source Movable Unit' field so you could immediately start another move operation without having to tap the screen.

WMS-15736 – Manage Carrier Accounts: Addressed an issue when loading existing carrier account information into the Carrier Accounts grid, in which an error reported for one carrier account would prevent data loading for all carrier accounts. This effectively prevented the addition of new carrier accounts while another account was in a bad state.

WMS-15741 – WooCommerce Connection: Corrected an issue related to re-importing orders that previously failed due to invalid SKUs, in which some invalid data was appended to the list of failed orders sent to WooCommerce. This would cause additional error messages and failures.

WMS-15804 – Shopify Connection: Resolved an issue where duplicate errors in the connection could be improperly counted as a new error. Duplicate errors are now tracked in a separate location.
